  • Cloud Infrastructure: Our platform is hosted on Vercel. Data may be stored on servers operated by our cloud providers in the United States.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information to comply with a subpoena, court order, or other legal obligation, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

5. State DMV Reporting Disclosure

Important: As a licensed traffic school, we are legally obligated to report your course completion data to the relevant state agency. This is not optional and cannot be opted out of — it is a condition of state approval for our courses.

Reported data typically includes: full name, date of birth, driver's license number, completion date, course type, and course duration. Reporting timelines and recipient agencies vary by state:

  • Florida: Reported to FLHSMV (Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles) within required timeframes
  • California: Reported to the DMV and/or court as directed on enrollment
  • Arizona, Georgia, Indiana, Ohio, Texas: Reported to the respective state DMV or court as required

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information:

  • All data transmissions are encrypted using TLS (HTTPS)
  • Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text
  • Payment card data is never stored on our servers — processed exclusively by Stripe
  • Access to student records is restricted to authorized personnel only
  • Identity documents (ID photos) are stored encrypted and accessible only to verification staff
  • Session tokens expire automatically and are invalidated on logout

No system is completely secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@quickpasstrafficschool.com.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy:

  • Account data: Retained for the life of your account and up to 7 years after your last activity, as required by state licensing regulations
  • Course completion records and certificates: Retained indefinitely as required by state law for audit purposes
  • Payment records: Retained for 7 years for tax and accounting purposes
  • ID documents: Deleted within 90 days of verification completion
  • Support communications: Retained for 3 years

You may request deletion of your account data (see Section 8). Note that we may be required to retain certain records regardless of your request due to legal obligations.

10. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Our services are intended for licensed drivers and are not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will promptly delete it.
