Accessibility Statement

Our commitment to an inclusive experience for all users

Effective Date: July 1, 2026  ·  Last Updated: July 12, 2026
✓ Working toward WCAG 2.1 Level AA Conformance

Our Commitment

Quick Pass Traffic School is committed to ensuring that our website and online course platform are accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We believe that everyone deserves equal access to driver education, and we actively work to remove barriers to participation.

We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.

Measures We Take

We take the following steps to ensure accessibility:

  • Include sufficient color contrast ratios between text and background throughout our interface
  • Provide descriptive alt text for all meaningful images
  • Ensure all interactive elements are keyboard-navigable
  • Use semantic HTML5 elements and ARIA landmark roles for screen reader compatibility
  • Maintain visible focus indicators for keyboard navigation
  • Avoid content that flashes more than 3 times per second
  • Ensure form fields have associated labels
  • Allow text to be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
  • Provide responsive design for use on mobile devices and tablets

Technologies Used

Our platform relies on the following technologies for accessibility:

✓ HTML5
✓ CSS3 (with rem/em units)
✓ Semantic ARIA roles
✓ Vanilla JavaScript
✓ Responsive design
✓ SVG with titles

Known Limitations

While we strive to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA, we acknowledge the following known areas for improvement that we are actively working to address:

  • Course video content: Some course video segments may not yet have closed captions. We are in the process of adding captions to all video content.
  • Complex data tables: Some administrative tables may not yet have full screen reader annotations. We are improving these progressively.
  • Third-party content: Embedded content from third-party providers (such as Stripe's payment form) may not fully conform to our accessibility standards. We work with providers committed to accessibility.
  • PDFs: Some PDF documents (such as downloadable certificates) may not be fully accessible. We are working to provide accessible HTML alternatives.
We prioritize fixing accessibility issues as they are reported. If you encounter a barrier, please tell us — it will help us improve for all users.

Assistive Technology Compatibility

Our platform has been tested with or is intended to work with the following assistive technologies:

  • Screen readers: NVDA (Windows), JAWS (Windows), VoiceOver (macOS/iOS), TalkBack (Android)
  • Keyboard-only navigation
  • Browser zoom up to 200%
  • High contrast mode (Windows and macOS)
